Terms & Conditions
Nature Of The Service
CR Practice is a Three Principles education and development practice. Its practitioners are educators and do not provide psychotherapy. The work may touch many areas of life, but your choices, decisions and wellbeing remain your responsibility. It is not medical care and does not replace support from an appropriate healthcare professional.
Sessions
Sessions take place online or face to face at an agreed time. Their length is set in advance and is usually one, one and a half, or two hours. The frequency and overall duration are agreed between the practitioner and client. Online sessions normally use Zoom and clients should join from a private, quiet space.
Recordings & Technical Problems
CR Practice does not record a session without the client’s prior written consent. If a session cannot go ahead because of a technical problem, we will aim to rearrange it at no extra cost.
Fees & Payment
Fees depend on the course or number of sessions booked. CR Practice will issue an invoice, and payment is due within seven working days unless agreed otherwise. Fees may be reviewed, but changes will not apply to sessions already booked and paid for.
Cancellations
A cancellation made less than 24 hours before an appointment is charged at the full fee. Between 24 and 48 hours, half the fee is charged. Between 48 and 72 hours, one quarter is charged. More than 72 hours’ notice carries no charge.
14-Day Cancellation Right
If an agreement is made at a distance, such as online or by phone, or away from CR Practice’s premises, the client may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. If sessions begin during that period at the client’s request, the client may be charged for services already provided before cancellation.
Confidentiality & Safeguarding
Communications are confidential except with the client’s written permission or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. This may include concerns that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused, an imminent risk of harm to the client, or threats of imminent violence towards another person. Where safe and appropriate, CR Practice will try to discuss this before taking action.
Urgent Support
CR Practice is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to the nearest A&E. For urgent mental health support that is not life-threatening, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option, or call Samaritans free on 116 123.
Minors & Vulnerable Clients
Where a client is under 18 or may not have full capacity to consent, additional care is taken over consent, confidentiality and, where appropriate, involving a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.
Ending The Agreement
Either the client or practitioner may end the working relationship at any time. If CR Practice believes a client’s needs go beyond the service it can appropriately offer, this will be discussed and, where possible, other sources of support will be suggested. Fees for services already provided remain payable.
Complaints
Please email admin@crpractice.com if you are unhappy with any aspect of the service. CR Practice will respond as soon as possible and aims to reply to non-urgent enquiries within two working days.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CR Practice’s liability for loss arising from the agreement is limited to the fees paid for the relevant sessions. Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Governing Law
The agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from it.
General
The client agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, forms the agreement for these services. Changes must be agreed in writing. If one part is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Electronic signatures are treated in the same way as handwritten signatures.
